At the Middle School level, we offer various lacrosse options based on the season and experience level. 

1) Rec Middle School - We offer both a Fall and Spring season depending on the players. Teams are between 18 and 22 players to maximize playing time at practices and games. If we have enough players, we will create a second team. This option is great for players new to the sport of lacrosse and player development in a more fun atmosphere. 

Practices are held on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the season from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Meade Lacrosse Fields.

For games, we play in the Newtown Lacrosse League, the premier league in all of Georgia, consisting of over 25 lacrosse programs. Some travel is involved throughout the greater Atlanta area. 

2) Select Middle School - The Spring select program offers 6th-8th grade players the opportunity to form teams based on high school affiliation, competing in a highly competitive format in Georgia. Unlike rec, these teams are created via tryouts to build competitive teams. GMSAA has two divisions: Jr. Select (6th-7th Grade) and Sr. Select (7th-8th Grade). Currently, we offer Select teams affiliated with McIntosh High School and Starr's Mill High School. Tryouts occur in late October, and practices start just after the first of the year.

For games in the GMSAA Select Lacrosse League, play against other Middle School teams throughout Georgia. Travel will be involved. We play similar lacrosse rules to GHSAA.
